I use my domain for email and the website for testing and technology demos.</p> <p>This most recent site update is a technology demo for a fully serverless web app using Google Cloud Run, Storage, Firestore, and Identity Platform.</p> <h2>Services Used</h2> <ul> <li>Cloud Run - executes incoming HTTP requests in a docker container, only bills for execution time.</li> <li>Firestore - a document database, blog post meta-data and user permissions are stored here.</li> <li>Storage - a publicly readable Google Storage bucket is used for static content and blog post bodies</li> <li>Identity Platform - used for authentication, supports user/pass and OAuth integrations</li> </ul>
